TEACHING
Teaching and sharing my passion for Earth Sciences is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I love helping students connect with the planet around them, whether we’re digging into minerals in the lab, creating geologic maps in the field, or tackling big questions about how Earth works.

I’ve taught geology across a wide range of settings: intro geology and oceanography labs, upper-level sedimentology & stratigraphy, and field camps in the Rockies. I always try to make the material feel real and approachable.

Outside the classroom, I bring geology into the wider community through hikes, workshops, and outreach events, which help me think about how to make science approachable and relevant (see outreach & community).
